Summer's here which means I am not making (or firing) nearly as much as I'd like. It really is a shame that us humans have to sleep so much. I can't help but think of all the things I could get done if I didn't..

I'm starting a fun on-going project that popped in my head last week. A collection of different stoneware and porcelain plates with simple action verbs on each one. Perhaps I'll call it "Where to Begin" because I find these words inspiring for when I'm stuck in a oh-poor-me place and need to do SOMEthing. For now, I'm just referring to them as my nifty fifty (I've found more verbs that I can't live without, so it's more like sweet sixty!). I find making multiples soothing these days and can't wait to see them hanging as a group once they're glazed and fired.
