I was so excited to reach 100 sales in my etsy shop this past weekend! I know I'm small potatoes compared to other sellers who have thousands under their belt, but for this aspiring artist who didn't know if she would create again four years ago, it feels pretty awesome. When people buy my pieces, they're not just putting money into a faceless vacuum, they're helping my family pay for kids' swim lessons and saxophone rentals, dinner dates and our veggie box...and of course, more clay and ceramic supplies so I can keep learning and growing in this art.
