3.2.12

Happy Friday!  I wanted to show off the most scrumptious pinch pots made by a local Cub Scout Troop.  They were working on their "art" patch and needed to talk to and do an activity with a local artist. I was more than happy to oblige! I'm amazed at how intuitive clay is. It must be programmed deep in our DNA--because they didn't hesitate or worry about "messing up" as kids often do with painting or drawing.  They came out so wonderfully! Each and every one a work of art.

As you can tell, I'm slowly adding to my glaze repertoire. The art of adding color to ceramics is like a medium all its own. The chemistry behind it is so fascinating.  This book is on its way--I can't wait to read it!
